‘Make Time’ falls into Productivity and Time Management Genre as it is a self-help book. This book was written by Knapp and Zeratsky, who were former Google employees who now own a design firm Using their knowledge on design thinking, they come up with a practical application to help readers reclaim some of this time in the digital age of distraction.
Out of so many Time management books ‘Make Time’ caught my attention the most as it promised the solution for one of the most common problems in the modern era and it gave the solutions in a very simplistic way, so the first impression of the book was great.
SUMMARY
Plot overview: Apart from other fiction books ‘Make Time’ is a guide for time management the authors of the book provides four strategies that can be applied to any lifestyle that guides the reader to make a daily routine that suits the readers life perfectly and according to their values and goals. The strategies provided by the author are perfect for a man to reclaim his time.
Themes: The book ‘Make Time’ carries a theme of personal productivity and wellbeing. The book makes it clear that it is not about doing more but about doing what is most important.
Characters/Subjects: In this book the characters are the readers themselves. This book acts like a guidebook as it offers the readers set of strategies by using which they can bring changes in their daily routines. Yet the subject of the always revolves around time management and self-discipline
Plot structure: the methods are flexible. Each chapter is based on one strategy which breaks the book down into four parts, the book ‘Make Time’ consists of many implementational opportunities. The book has an excellent constant flow and a steady pace and the particular reason for this is that it does not it does not have any unwanted dramatic twists in it.
Emotional impact: After reading ‘Make Time’ I had a different level of motivation and clarity. The made me think again about how I utilize my time and helped me be more productive without working extra time.

Strengths: The greatest strength of the book is that it is practically simple and could be applied to any type of lifestyle. It makes it easier for the readers to apply the given strategies in their day-to-day life. The book is written in a very simple and easy to understand language.
Weakness: I have not found any type of weakness in the book.

Connection: I found myself getting deeply connecting to the book as it was not very hard to understand. ‘Make Time’ helped me make my day more productive and also saved time for my personal activities.
Relevance: The book is highly relevant in today’s fast generation. The book emphasizes the readers to slow down and pay attention to the things that truly matter to them.

Recommendation: I would highly recommend to those people who are exhausted by their daily routine and are unable to give time to what really matters to them. I would also recommend the book to youth so that they could manage time and be productive as well as get time for themselves in this modern era and fast world
