l thought that this book would be very much useful to come out of physical and mental misery that leads to psycho somatic problems. Being a teacher of Psychology, a Yoga teacher and meditator, was very curious to read this highly recommended book.
Summary of the book:
This is one of the best books for self healing having a forward and afterward also. The book was first published in 1984 and is based on the authoress’ true life story which is given in the last chapter that is chapter number 16. The book is very much elaborative so as to reveal the mind and body relationship that is indeed helpful to change one’s life drastically. To understand our mental patterns behind the diseases and new thought patterns are remarkable and unique features of the book. The suggestions by the authoress, her philosophy, ideas, sessions, affirmations, exercises are the crux for holistic healing. The book also focuses light on how one’s thoughts are responsible to change his life. That is to say we only are our friends and our enimies. In ‘SHREEMAD BHAGWAD GEETA’ it is rightly said:

Forgiveness, positivity, self love all the very important life changing subjects are handled very effectively. The mental and physical exercises, affirmations are the real strengths of the book. Problems, their probable causes and supportive new thought patterns are amazing yet realistic.
Personal reflection:
To my mind, I feel this book is not only worth reading once but its impact leads to its recurring reading as it helps as a guide from time to time. Whenever I have a physical or mental problem I refer the book and get apt solution. When I was in a very deep emotional trauma this book helped me to come out of it and became my life guide. As far as today’s hectic and stressful lifestyle is concerned, this book gives proper Insight to the individual to understand body mind connection and have proper remedy. In a way, it is a worldwide helpful book for the mankind.
