The book ‘it ends with us’ written by Colleen Hoover. This book has sensitive topics on domestic violence, relationships and love. In this book it points out that many people or especially womens tolerate domestic violence in the name of love.
Lily, a women who experience trauma because her father was abusive. After her father death she moves to another city & she found her Love. Before marriage she already experiencing some abusive traits but she gave it name of love & married to the Ryle. When she met her past in her heart Ryle behaviour changed & he invited her to a relationship.
She was suffering the same as her mother used to suffer. She had promised herself when she was little that she wouldn’t marry a person like her father but in the end she did the same as her mother. At this point she stands for herself & chooses to not let herself suffer more. She doesn’t want her daughter to suffer because if she doesn’t stop here it’ll pass to her daughter she separated from Ryle while just after giving birth to her daughter. This divorce was going to stop this generation’s trauma. She started a new life with her little daughter. Its title suggest it ends with her & her daughter.
