In the article ‘Environment and Human Life’, Rajendra Shende has conveyed the message that our environment is deteriorating due to human encroachment on the natural cycle. Our life depends on the five elements of earth, water, fire, air and sky. The Rig Veda compares these five elements with the sense organs in our body, which the author finds more systematic. The cycle of nature has been running continuously and in a balanced manner to maintain a balanced life on earth; but due to human selfishness, power, wealth and ambition to overcome nature, the air, land and water, which are essential for human life, have started to be polluted. As human’s perspective towards nature changed, the environmental problem became serious. The United Nations took the view that environmental problems should be solved in a collective manner for the benefit of the world. In 1972, at an international conference held in Stockholm, Sweden on the subject of ‘Human Environment’, Magracharya proposed 26 points
2. Science has had a huge impact on human life. Science has radically changed human life. While it has made it easier and richer in some respects, some questions have also arisen. For example, environmental pollution, fuel shortage, destructive nuclear weapons, etc. Science has come to be seen as a part of life, as the search for knowledge that leads to a prosperous life.
3. Today, science and the technology that follows it have made a great contribution to all areas of life. Everyone is aware of the fact that they have changed the structure of our lives and daily affairs. The facilities provided by science and technology are also used by everyone. The use of those facilities has become an integral part of our daily life. “There is no mentality to take note of the areas of human affairs like the study of science that deserve credit for it.” Dr. Bal Fondke has expressed this regret in the article ‘Why is Marathi science literature being neglected?’.
4. There was a time when science literature should be considered literature? Some critics used to ask such a fundamental question. But today that situation is no longer there. Marathi language is at the forefront in giving due place to science literature compared to other Indian languages. Science literature is given a place in Marathi language newspapers.
5.The language, imagination, and composition of science literature are considered as standards of fine literature. The main goal of science literature is to try to explain a scientific formula to the general reader in a simple, understandable form through science literature. Although science literature follows the norms of literature, its spirit is that of science. There are a total of ten issues in the ‘Science World’ edition. It mainly includes six science articles, three science fiction articles and one article introducing a scientist.
Dr. Narendra Dabholkar, in his article ‘Scientific Approach’ in the book ‘Science, Conscience and Students’, has put forward the idea that scientific approach is essential for human liberation. Scientific approach starts from observing and asking questions with curiosity (scientific approach is a method of thinking and acting and a way of finding truth. Observation, logic, inference, experience and experiment are the components of scientific approach while autonomy, inventiveness, fairness, humility and fearlessness are the values. Babavakyam pramanam, caste system, bureaucratic education system, authoritarian atmosphere in the family, deification of individuals are the reasons why scientific approach did not take root in India. As many scientific discoveries led to a huge infiltration of society in Europe, it did not happen in India. Scientific approach identifies the properties of the unconscious creation, increases self-confidence, gives direction to life, mental trading becomes fearless, mental terror ends, intellectual and emotional dimension of life increases. The journey of scientific approach in the twenty-first century can be the journey of human liberation, He has expressed such optimism.

Everyone in the world is fascinated by space. Our mythology has many descriptions of planets. Not only this, it is also noticeable that the fire arrow was used in the Ramayana and Mahabharata. Dr. Prakash Tupe has narrated the history of India’s space exploration. Through the tireless efforts of Homi Bhabha, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, Dr. Abdul Kalam and other scientists, these scientists decided to develop technology in their own country without taking the help of other countries. ‘Aryabhatta’ was India’s first satellite launched. After that, India’s name was brightened by the successful launch of fire arrows like ‘Bhaskar’ and ‘SLV 3’. India took up the moon project and in just five years, its scientists successfully sent an Indian spacecraft to the moon.
