The greatest guiding companion of general populace from time immemorial are our Vedic scriptures and among them is ―Shrimad Bhagavatam‖ which is called ―Amalpuran‖. It is a marvelous work by Srila Ved Vyas, a literary incarnation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Krsna. This work has become more magnanimous and wonderful with the commentary of Srila A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad, a reverted Vaishav acharya of the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya. His easy-to understand commentary on so many Vedic scriptures like Bhagavat Gita, Nectar of Instructions, Nectar of Devotion, Chaitanya Charitamrit, Shrimad Bhagavatam and many more enlightens not only Indians but also foreigners all over the world. The perfect use of words and pure consciousness of the commentator has made the commentary the most acknowledged and a pure interpretation starting from the very theme of approaching the Absolute Truth and declaring Nama Sankirtan as the topmost way of achieving the perfection of human life. Reading Shrimad Bhagavatam makes stress free, free from anxiety, free from depression, more productive and also provides valuable lessons. The whole book not only shows light to the ignorant but also saves from the greatest kind of danger that is repeated Birth, Death, Old age and disease. It teaches the real purpose of life. It is a
masterpiece showcasing the values and purpose of the human life.
