The Power of your subconscious mind is written by Dr. Joseph Murphy, who discusses the intelligence present in your mind. This book has 20 chapters and each chapters explains how you can achieve anything with right way of thinking.
I am recently reading this book and astonished by the way he explained how our mind works. He consider our subconscious mind as a soil and our thoughts as seed, he said that whatever type of seed(Thoughts) we grow in soil(our subconscious mind) we will get that type of result only. He explained his theory by giving various examples within the book. He explained that wonders will happen with positive affirmations. Whatever is happening around us is actually we thought whether it is positive or negative. We only need to change the way we think and get whatever we want. He give example for it that a girl want a purse but she didn’t had money to buy that so she remembered the words of Dr. Murphy and instead of thinking that she can’t afford that purse she think that the purse belongs to her and she will get it soon. After few weeks she met her boyfriend and he gifted her exactly same purse.
He also explained the power of thoughts before we go to sleep. He said that whatever you want, you just have to impregnate it in your subconscious mind by thinking about it before going to sleep and just after waking up because at that time our subconscious mind is more active. This is the reason why people are said to sleep with good thoughts. He gave various techniques like the art of true prayer, visualization technique, sleeping technique, affirmative method and many more to achieve happy and healthy and peaceful life.
With the help of various case studies and real life stories, this book guides to unleash your mental power, and give you the way how you become successful, improve your friendship, strengthen your relationships, conquering fears and phobias, healing minor ailments, remove bad habits from your life, and enjoying sleep.
I’ll recommend this book to every book lover and other person who wanted to read books as well. I would like to say that one should read this book at least once in their lifetime. My rating for this book is 4, because I find this book really amazing but I feel some points are repetitive.
