The author point of view with regard to this subject matter is that, he contests the postmodern view, 'Marxism is without a future. He argues that true it is, Marxism today is passing through a phase of crisis To give a boost to itself. Marxism must get rid of its dogmatic versions. This book is a welcome addition to the growing literature in this subject. It is also a significant addition to the recent historical scholarship on the Marxism as it examines the Postmodernism. It is a good attempted book; author is quite successful in attaining
his goal. But in a book like this, there are obviously gaps and omissions; we come across some of them. What the book lackis the continuity and context.
