I recently Completed reading 48 laws of power which is authored by Robert Grenne and it is one of the best books on Personality development that I had read so far .
48 Laws of power these book teaches you human nature and it gives refrences from the history and from the past. The book is all about how to gain and accumulate power, but not just that. It’s also about how to use the power you’ve gained to use other people for your advantage, most often at their expense, though maybe not necessarily at their expense, and how to blatantly manipulate others for your benefit, regardless of whether they benefit or suffer from your manipulation over them.
It can easily summarise as ” Know how to use Power works so you can use it to good and defend yourself in any situation”.It is a book which can make you as good and can make you as a evil also .we have to choose wisely which one we have to choose .
It has the philosophy that never associate with those who share your defects they will reinforce everything that holds you back only create association with positive affinities. This book is for anyone who would like to understand how to use the laws of power to be able to improve their life, however I recommend not to the detriment of someone else’s life. I might also make the extension that it can be for someone who wants to manipulate someone else to do better. I would also argue it could also be used to to rise through the ranks into higher places by manipulating others into helping you rise through the ranks, but not at their expense. These book focuses on your intentions.
These book is so structured which also offers advice in the last and teaches how to perform the law.
To good readers read these book is not for manipulation or for not bad intentions but to stay safe from being Manupulated. It’s more than safe to say this book can be used for evil purposes as it’s all about how to manipulate someone and gain power for yourself over them for your benefit using principles of human and social psychology, understanding what makes people want to do something, and what makes someone vulnerable and, in a position to be manipulated. I wouldn’t recommend it for evil, obviously. But if you know how, the laws can also be used to manipulate someone for the better so you can benefit yourself, as well as their own in the process.
Many people spend their lives trying to gain power. Most of us avoid confronting the power-hungry nature of people and end up getting up left behind in our blissful ignorance.
The truth Is that power is an inevitable part of life, and it’s better to be adept at it than to pretend it does not exist. While there are many techniques for acquiring power, they distill down into a discrete set of laws of power that can be learned.
