Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, better known as A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, not only has long name but also a long legacy. Dr. Kalam was an author, scientist and India’s 11th President between 2002-2007.
He has been awarded honorary doctorates from at least 30 universities aw well as the country’s three highest civilian awards:-
Padma Bhushan (1981) Padma Vibhushan (1990) And Bharat Ratna (1997)
It is a fabulous non-fiction book. And the book is very inspiring. In 12 different yet connected chapters, he narrated his life from a shy village boy to legend missile man and to president of India.
The book is an inspirational treasure. The content is concise, crisp and clear-cut. The book had decent amount of history from his childhood to becoming the president of India. The entire book is only 147 pages long.
In this book stories from Dr. Kalam’s life weaved together. He had mentioned about the childhood days, about his mentors, his parents. He elaborates his tender relationship with them. He described the lessons learnt from his dear and near ones.

It describes his struggle, his courage, his faith. His failure and his will to work for the nation.
All lessons in the book can act as a Life lesson for everyone going through tough. His hard work, dedication and vision are incomparable. Very inspiring and motivational book for everyone.
