The Bhagavad Gita, a timeless masterpiece woven into the epic Mahabharata. The
Bhagavad Gita was spoken by lord Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra,
just before the start of a great war.

Arjuna, overwhelmed by the sight of his own family members arrayed against him as
enemies, experienced a profound crisis of conscience. He was deeply troubled by thought
of killing his relatives, teachers, and friends.
Overwhelmed by grief and despair, Arjuna refused to fight, casting aside his bow and
arrows. It was at this crucial moment that Lord Krishna, his charioteer and divine guide,
imparted the profound wisdom of the Gita.
In essence, the Gita arose from Arjuna’s profound moral dilemma-the conflict between
his duty as a warrior and his love for his family.
